They Came....

I love it when my family comes! They - along with my cousin Emily did a give a day get a day, so we met them at Disneyland. It was awesome!! No lines, and so much fun.
Until time to go - don't they look pleased about it.
Josh finally met his hero. It took three times of them closing down the line before he got to the front, and a few tears, but we finally succeeded. It's so fun when they think that it's the real person. When Josh grows up he wants to be an "outer space rescue hero who teaches things"

We had lots of great food - Headed down to China Town for the best chinese food, and some quick shopping.

Made ribs! Anna was a fan! She ate more than Jessie.
And brownies... yum! BTW if Anna finds a bow on the ground she usually insists that I put it in her hair- that's not my idea of a fashion statement. We also had some amazing shwarmas.
Some checked out the Getty. Jessie and Emily loved it! - much to their surprise.
Who knew after all those years that Jessie liked museums and zoos:) It just cracks me up that she's sincerely surprised when she has fun:) - although I have to say Jessie is the funnest person to take places. She took Josh on a walk around the block and they shot everyone they met, not secretively, they ran up to people and said, "Bam!" what a good aunt, hopefully no one recognized Josh....
Went to the beach. Anna tried to learn how to be buried in the sand. Josh is an old pro - it keeps you warm after being in ice water.

And my kids were generally spoiled rotten. Josh talked everyone in to going to see How To Tame a Dragon with him. and when I asked him if he wanted milk or water to drink he said, "What's Adam having?" "I think he wants water" "OK I want water too!" Complete adoration.
Anna was a huge fan of the 3-D movie at Disneyland. It was a little noisy but hilarious!
